The Sabelt Pedal Heel Rest EVO I is the 10 mm CNC aluminium plate that supports the heel beneath the pedal set, with up to 30 mm of adjustment.

It is a small part with a direct effect on how you drive. Without a heel rest the foot works in mid-air and all the braking effort comes from the quadriceps: it tires you and makes modulation vary from lap to lap. With the heel supported the movement becomes repeatable, which is exactly what consistent braking needs. The 10 mm thickness is what stops the plate giving way under the weight of the leg with high-load pedal sets.
