The Sim-Lab Podium Bracket Set is an aluminium bracket kit for side-mounting Fanatec DD1, DD2, CSL DD and DD PRO Direct Drive wheelbases on 8020 profile cockpits, with slotted plates that let you set the angle and tilt.

Side mounting frees up the front of the cockpit and puts the wheelbase at the height and angle each driver prefers. The slots let you fine-tune the tilt once everything is bolted up, and the same plates also allow an upright fixing. This item is the 600 mm upright-spacing version.

Which Fanatec bases does the Podium Bracket Set take?

It takes the Fanatec Podium DD1, DD2, CSL DD and DD PRO. With the CSL DD and DD PRO you fit the included spacers, as shown in the Sim-Lab manual.

What does the 600 mm measurement refer to?

The spacing between the cockpit uprights the plates bolt onto. It is the spacing used by the P1-X, GT1 Pro and the earlier GT1 and P1 cockpits.

Can the wheelbase tilt be adjusted?

Yes. The slots in the plates let you set the angle and tilt, and they also allow the wheelbase to be fixed upright.

Will it fit any 8020 profile cockpit?

Yes, as long as the uprights it bolts to are 600 mm apart. It is designed for frames built from 8020 aluminium profile.

Is it compatible with the GT1 EVO cockpit?

No. The GT1 EVO takes the 500 mm version of this bracket, which is no longer available. The GT1 EVO screen holder is also not compatible with the Podium Bracket Set.
