The INTRO SET QS-220 consists of two actuators, a power unit, and a motion controller (QS-MC6). It's the perfect solution for all pilots starting their adventure with sim racing and looking to enter the virtual world of competition or needing a 2DOF as their first motion platform. Without a doubt, one of the greatest advantages of the Qubic System brand is the ability to seamlessly expand the motion system with a set of additional actuators, quickly and easily creating extraordinary and original motion cockpits in a 3DOF or even 6DOF configuration with additional specially designed accessories.

3DOF CONFIGURATION

The EXTENDED SET QS-220 consists of four actuators, two power frames, and a motion controller. The 3DOF setup is dedicated to all racers who expect the most realistic and accurate simulation. Incredible levels of vehicle response allow the driver to feel exactly what the vehicle is doing in real time. During the competition, drivers can experience every possible detail experienced in a real race (including engine vibrations, road surface, bumps, maneuvering effects, etc.). Thanks to the 3DOF setup, you can experience a real racing session right from your home.

By using the dedicated Qubic Manager software, the driver or pilot can experience the most realistic simulation that responds instantly to on-screen situations to provide a real-life experience in games or VR applications. Qubic Manager features world-class motion guidance algorithms with built-in "filtering systems" to reflect the virtual environment, bridging the gap between simulation and reality.

Hardware

The patent-pending technology of Qubic System Performance Line's QS-L1 linear actuators enables highly realistic applications with detailed simulation telemetry effects. The motor controllers were designed by Motion Systems to do one job: control motors in vehicle simulator applications—and they're great!

The included QS-SB2 power cabinet (control module) is responsible for power distribution and communication to handle telemetry signal processing, where the motion controller sends commands to the controllers, which analyze the incoming command as soon as it arrives. Note that the QS-MC6 must be purchased separately for the 2DOF version, while it is included in the full version. The control module sets the motion and vibration signals for each individual actuator. The controller operates on 115V and 230V mains power supplies without any adapters or voltage converters.
