The Conspit CDP Quick Release is the quick release half that bolts to the steering wheel, in CNC-machined 7075 aluminium, with zero play thanks to the combination of a locking clamp and a ball system, and with integrated spring contacts for the signal.

This product is the wheel side of the CDP system: the part that bolts to your steering wheel. The base side is built into the CONSPIT Ares Direct Drive wheelbases, so you do not need to buy it separately if you already own one.

Compatibility & mounting

The CDP is the native coupling system of the CONSPIT Ares Direct Drive bases, including the Ares 12 Nm and the Ares 20 Platinum: the base side already comes built into them. For wheels with a different bolt pattern there is an optional 50–70 mm adapter. The integrated spring contacts replace traditional wiring between wheel and base.
