The Racing Sims RS:Kart ULTIMATE is a karting simulator with 6DOF motion from 7 actuators, including front and rear traction loss and surge, built on a real Cadet or Senior competition chassis with a Simucube direct drive base.

See all karting simulators

It is the flagship of the Racing Sims (New Zealand) RS:Kart racing simulator line-up. To the PRO's 4 vertical actuators it adds 2 traction loss actuators with 180 mm of stroke and 1 surge actuator with 180 mm of stroke, reproducing loss of grip and the longitudinal forces of acceleration and braking. It is aimed at teams, academies and high-performance centres.

Key features

  • 6DOF motion with 7 actuators: 4 vertical, 2 traction loss and 1 surge
  • Vertical actuators with 100 mm of stroke, up to 250 mm/s and 200 kg per actuator
  • Front and rear traction loss plus surge with 180 mm stroke actuators
  • Real competition kart chassis in Cadet or Senior version, with RS livery
  • Simucube 2 Sport 17 Nm direct drive steering base and triple 27″ curved monitors at 180 Hz
  • Pre-configured Racing Sims Cube PC with Intel Core i7-14700F, 32 GB DDR5 and AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT

Which chassis should you choose: Cadet or Senior?

The Cadet chassis replicates the kart used in junior categories and accepts optional pedal extensions for shorter drivers. The Senior chassis replicates the kart used in adult categories. All other equipment is identical in both versions.

Compatibility

The RS:Kart runs on its own integrated PC (Racing Sims Cube with Windows 11 Pro), delivered pre-configured. It is not compatible with PlayStation or Xbox.

Frequently asked questions

What motion does the RS:Kart ULTIMATE offer?

6DOF motion with 7 actuators: 4 vertical actuators with 100 mm of stroke (up to 250 mm/s and 200 kg each), 2 front and rear traction loss actuators of 180 mm and 1 surge actuator of 180 mm.

What does traction loss add to a karting simulator?

The traction loss actuators shift the front and rear of the chassis sideways to reproduce loss of grip, while the surge actuator reproduces longitudinal acceleration and braking.

What is the difference between the RS:Kart ULTIMATE and the PRO?

The PRO offers 3DOF motion with 4 vertical actuators. The ULTIMATE adds 2 traction loss actuators and 1 surge actuator, reaching 6DOF. All other equipment (chassis, PC, screens and steering base) is the same.

Does the RS:Kart ULTIMATE work with PS5 or Xbox?

No. It runs on its own integrated Racing Sims Cube PC with Windows 11 Pro, delivered pre-configured with Assetto Corsa for karting.

Which options can be added to the RS:Kart?

Available options are an adjustable seat slider (factory-fitted), pedal extensions for the Cadet chassis, a custom livery with design included, the Racing Sims Xtreme PC (Intel i9, 64 GB DDR5, NVIDIA RTX 5090, 2 TB SSD) and an extra 12 months of warranty.
