The 8 Nm Fanatec CSL DD Ready2Race GT3 is a complete GT sim racing bundle for Xbox and PC: the 300 mm CSL Steering Wheel GT3 with Xbox licence, the CSL DD Direct Drive wheelbase with the Boost Kit 180 included (8 Nm) and the CSL pedal set with Load Cell Kit, with a table clamp included so you can play without a cockpit.

It is the punchier version of the GT3 bundle within the Fanatec bundles range by Fanatec: one of the best-selling direct drive wheelbases already at its maximum torque, with a race-grade load cell brake and a full-size wheel.

Compatibility

Platforms: Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Windows). The console licence lives in the CSL Steering Wheel GT3, which activates the Xbox mode of the wheelbase. It is not compatible with PlayStation and cannot be upgraded to be.
Fanatec ecosystem: the wheelbase accepts every sim racing wheel with QR2 Lite, QR2 or QR2 Pro without torque restriction, Fanatec pedals with RJ12 connection, the ClubSport Shifter — including the Static Shifter Paddles — ClubSport handbrakes and the brand's cockpits and mounts.

How does it differ from the 5 Nm GT3 bundle?

This one includes the Boost Kit 180 as standard — so the wheelbase delivers its 8 Nm peak with nothing else to buy — and adds the Load Cell Kit to the pedal set, with a load cell brake and a third clutch pedal. The 5 Nm one comes with the two-pedal CSL pedal set.

Does it work on Xbox straight out of the box?

Yes. The CSL Steering Wheel GT3 is officially licensed for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S and activates the console compatibility of the wheelbase. On PC it works with all the major simulators.

What does the load cell brake add?

It measures the pressure you apply instead of pedal travel, just like a real car. The result is more consistent, repeatable braking; you can adjust the stiffness from the Tuning Menu or the Fanatec Control Panel.

Do I need a cockpit to use it?

No. The bundle includes the CSL DD table clamp, which fixes the base to a desk from 5 to 60 mm thick at a 15° angle. Later you can bolt the base to a cockpit using the M6 T-nut rails.

Is it compatible with PlayStation?

No. Neither the wheel nor the CSL DD wheelbase is PlayStation-licensed, and this compatibility cannot be added. For PS5, the equivalent is a bundle built on the ClubSport DD+ or GT DD Pro wheelbase.

Can I expand it with more wheels and accessories?

Yes. The wheelbase accepts any Fanatec wheel with QR2, plus shifters, handbrakes and the rest of the brand's accessories; you can also add a cockpit whenever you like.
