Sim-Lab DDS26 TorqueSync – 26 Nm Direct Drive Wheelbase

Sim-Lab DDS26 TorqueSync – 26 Nm Direct Drive Wheelbase
Brand: Sim-Lab
The Sim-Lab DDS26 TorqueSync is a 26 Nm Direct Drive wheelbase for sim racing on PC, with a 350 V industrial servo architecture and TorqueSync™ processing, aimed at drivers who want high-end Force Feedback with maximum detail and instant response.
Developed by Sim-Lab together with SOLO Motorcontrollers and manufactured in Italy, the DDS26 is engineered as a complete servo system, not a generic motor inside a consumer housing. Its internal 350 VDC bus and multi-core DSP control loop running at over 100 kHz keep torque stable through rapid direction changes and higher rotational speeds. The 1,500 W power supply is built into the base itself, with no external brick, and it joins Sim-Lab's new generation of direct drive wheelbases.

Both models share the same motor, electronics, TorqueSync™ processing, connectivity and mounting system; only torque and power change. The DDS26 delivers 26 Nm from a 1,500 W supply. If you want the ideal balance for GT, formula and open-wheel, this is your pick; if you prefer even more force, consider the Sim-Lab DDS39 TorqueSync.
The Sim-Lab DDS26 TorqueSync works with PC (Windows) and with iRacing and the rest of the popular PC racing sims. Its ecosystem is open: it accepts Sim-Lab, GRID Engineering and third-party wheels with the Ø70 mm M5 bolt pattern, via USB-C, USB-A or internal-connector passthrough. With precision rails on all four sides and built-in front-mount, it installs into cockpits by wheeldeck, front or side mount. It is not compatible with consoles (PlayStation or Xbox).
No. The DDS26 TorqueSync is a PC (Windows) wheelbase, compatible with iRacing and the other popular PC sims. It does not work with PlayStation or Xbox.
TorqueSync™ is Sim-Lab's patented signal-translation technology: it synchronises every update from the simulator physics with the servo more than 100,000 times per second, removing the delay. The result is immediate, proportional torque when you lose grip or clip a kerb.
The internal 350 VDC bus provides voltage headroom to overcome back-EMF at higher rotational speeds, keep torque available across a wider speed range and achieve a higher slew rate. In practice this means sharper, more alive Force Feedback through direction changes and counter-steers.
Yes. 26 Nm comfortably covers everything from GT to formula and open-wheel, with plenty of detail and punch for most drivers. True holding torque also keeps rated force with no thermal roll-off throughout the session.
They share platform, processing and mounting; only torque and power differ. The DDS26 delivers 26 Nm from a 1,500 W supply and the DDS39 reaches 39 Nm with 2,500 W. Choose based on the Force Feedback punch you want and the weight of the package.
The launch Founders Edition includes the new Xero-Play Quick Release v2, a Founders Edition engraving with an individual serial number and a collector's booklet, plus the mounting kit. Every DDS TorqueSync™ wheelbase carries a 4-year international warranty.
