The Simucube Wheelbase Mount v2 is a CNC-machined aluminium mount for Simucube 2 and Simucube 3 direct drive wheelbases, with a stepless tilt range from -24° to +20° and an inverted mounting option, designed to lock the wheelbase rigidly to your rig.
It replaces the original mount from the Simucube range with a drop-down installation method: the wheelbase hangs on the mount and stays in place before you tighten the first bolt, which reduces the risk of dropping it during setup. The total tilt range is 44°, and the inverted option frees up legroom and lets you lower the monitor position in your cockpit.
Key features of the Simucube Wheelbase Mount v2
- Heavy-duty CNC-machined aluminium: locks the wheelbase to the rig with no play.
- Drop-down installation: the wheelbase seats and holds on the mount before you tighten any bolts.
- Stepless tilt from -24° to +20°: 44° of total range.
- Inverted mounting supported: more legroom and a lower monitor position.
- Fits all three bolt patterns in the range: Ø145 mm, Ø135 mm and Ø130 mm.
- Complete fastener kit (M8 and M6, with T-slot nuts) and 5 mm hex L-key included.

Which Simucube wheelbases does the Wheelbase Mount v2 fit?
All Simucube 2 and Simucube 3 wheelbases. It covers the three bolt patterns in the range: Ø135 mm for Simucube 3, Ø145 mm for Simucube 2 Sport and Simucube 2 Pro, and Ø130 mm for Simucube 2 Ultimate.
How far can the wheelbase tilt, and can it be mounted inverted?
The tilt is stepless, with no fixed positions, from -24° to +20°, which is 44° of total range. Inverted mounting is also supported, freeing up legroom and allowing a lower monitor position.
What is included in the Simucube Wheelbase Mount v2 box?
The mount, a fastener kit with 8 M8x18 and 4 M8x30 flanged hex head screws, 5 M6x16 screws, 12 M8 washers, 5 M6 washers and 4 M8 T-slot nuts, plus a 5 mm hex L-key.
Will it fit any rig?
It is compatible with a wide range of rigs. Its base footprint measures 222 x 107 mm and it is fixed with M8 and M6 bolts; the four M8 T-slot nuts included are intended for aluminium profile rigs. It is worth checking your rig mounting surface against the official installation manual.
What has changed compared with the original Simucube mount?
The v2 moves from sheet metal to CNC-machined aluminium, replaces the lift-and-bolt method with the drop-down system, extends the tilt to a stepless -24° to +20° range (the original reached +20°, and +12° on Simucube 2 Ultimate) and adds inverted mounting, which was not previously possible.
