The Thrustmaster Sol-R 6 Throttle is a throttle for flight and space simulation on PC with 80 mm of travel on S.M.A.R.T. rails, a detent adjustable to 4 positions and a built-in 15° rudder with automatic re-centring.

You use it with your left hand to manage engine thrust while your right hand flies the stick: one half of the HOTAS concept. Its 14 additional actions cover engines, flaps, gear or airbrakes without letting go of the throttle, within the Thrustmaster FlightSim ecosystem.

Does the Sol-R 6 Throttle work without a joystick?

It works as a standalone USB device, but its purpose is to complete a joystick and form a HOTAS setup: one hand on the throttle and the other on the stick.
