The Sabelt Active Pedal Adapter Mount is the aluminium profile and steel plate kit that allows the Simucube Active Pedal to be installed on a Sabelt pedal mount.

An active pedal is not a conventional pedal set. It takes up considerably more surface area and, above all, it generates force rather than simply receiving it: the motor pushes back against the foot continuously, and that dynamic load goes into the structure. That is why Sabelt does not merely add a profile but includes a steel support plate that extends the mounting surface and spreads the effort. It is an add-on, not a standalone mount: it bolts onto either the Ultra or the adjustable mount.

Frequently asked questions

Can I fit the Simucube Active Pedal without this adapter?

Not on a standard Sabelt mount. The Active Pedal has a considerably larger footprint than a conventional pedal set and places higher demands on the structure. This kit adds the mounting surface and reinforcement the mount needs to work with it.

Which mounts does it install on?

On the Sabelt Ultra pedal mount and the adjustable pedal mount. It is not a standalone mount: it is an add-on that bolts onto one of those two.

What is in the kit?

An additional aluminium profile, a steel support plate, end caps, the fixing part and the screws.

Why is the plate steel rather than aluminium?

Because an active pedal generates force dynamically rather than merely receiving it. That constant work on the structure calls for a stiffer material than the aluminium used elsewhere in the assembly, and steel is what guarantees the load spreads without flex appearing.

Which cockpits is it compatible with?

With the Sabelt P, S and X series, always through the Ultra or adjustable pedal mount.

How much does it weigh and what warranty does it carry?

Shipping weight is 5 kg and the package measures 90.5 × 18.7 × 14.9 cm. It carries a 2-year manufacturer warranty.
