The Sabelt Side Mount EVO I is the side arm that fixes to the cockpit on the right-hand side and serves as the base for mounting Sabelt's deskside accessories.

It is a system component, not a finished product: on its own it holds nothing. What it provides is the anchoring point on which the mouse pad plate, the shifter plate, the shifter and handbrake plate or the button box mount install. Zero-X anodised aluminium profile and 10 mm CNC side plate with powder coating, the same construction as the rest of the range.

It is the base on which several Sabelt accessories install: the mouse pad plate, the shifter plate, the shifter and handbrake plate, and the button box mount. The bracket on its own holds nothing: it provides the arm those accessories bolt onto.

Does it mount on the right or the left side?

On the right. The fixing plate included is machined for that side. If you need left-side mounting, the product you want is the jointed side mount.

Will it take a sequential shifter or a handbrake?

For a sequential or H-pattern shifter and for a handbrake, Sabelt recommends adding the side mount reinforcement. Those peripherals take sharp pulls, and the reinforcement provides the extra stability the bracket alone does not give.
