The Thrustmaster Airbus Add-On Grip is an officially licensed Airbus flight stick grip for Thrustmaster joystick bases, with two configurations —A300 and A400M— and 16-bit H.E.A.R.T. Hall Effect sensors, compatible with PC (Windows 10/11) and simulators such as Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane.
It is the only officially licensed Airbus grip built for the left hand, reproducing the captain's posture and handling in a 1:1 scale cockpit. The included module and removable button cover let you switch the grip from the A300 (commercial aviation) configuration to the A400M (military transport) one with no tools, in just a few steps.

Compatibility
Compatible with PC (Windows 10/11). Not compatible with consoles. Works with the Thrustmaster AVA, Sol-R and HOTAS Warthog MKII bases, and with the HOTAS Warthog base via the Warthog Converter (all bases and the converter sold separately).
When using the Warthog Converter, the HOTAS Warthog base supports only 5 buttons, 1 PoV hat switch and the X+Y axes, due to its communication limitation.
Frequently asked questions
Does it include the joystick base?
No. The Airbus Add-On Grip is a grip that mounts on a compatible Thrustmaster base (AVA, Sol-R, HOTAS Warthog MKII, or HOTAS Warthog with Warthog Converter), sold separately.
Is it for the left or the right hand?
It is designed for the left hand, reproducing the captain's position in the Airbus cockpit.
What is the difference between the A300 and A400M configurations?
Out of the box it replicates the A300 series grip (commercial aviation). The included A400M module and removable button cover turn it into the A400M military transport version, with no tools and in a few steps.
Does it work on consoles like PlayStation or Xbox?
No. The grip is compatible with PC (Windows 10/11) only.
Does it need software or is it Plug and Play?
It is Plug and Play and is recognised automatically in Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane and other simulators. Optionally, T.A.R.G.E.T. software lets you create and store custom per-aircraft mapping profiles.
