The Thrustmaster T248R Shifter Pack is a complete sim racing bundle for PS5, PS4 and PC bringing together the T248R wheel with its T-HD hybrid Force Feedback rated at 3.1 Nm, the magnetic T3PM 3-pedal set and the TH8S manual shifter with a 7+1 H-pattern.

It is the direct route to a wheel, pedals and a gear lever in one go, without buying parts piecemeal. The H-pattern shifter is what sets this pack apart: changing gear by hand rather than with paddles is what rally, classic touring cars and older GTs call for. Compare it with the rest of our racing simulator bundles.

Key features of the T248R Shifter Pack

  • T-HD (Hybrid Drive) Force Feedback with 3.1 Nm of torque and 48 W of constant power, plus 3 BOOST levels to change intensity on the fly to suit the car or the race.
  • Ergonomic 28 cm rim wrapped in perforated synthetic leather with imitation carbon finishes.
  • 25 action buttons, including 2 dual-activation encoders for quick access to settings.
  • Colour LCD screen with 20 different displays and 4 LEDs: shows speed, engine RPM and lap times, and lets you adjust Force Feedback mid-race.
  • T-MP paddle shifters with Mag-Shift sensors for instant, precise gear changes.
  • T3PM 3-pedal set with contactless, friction-free Hall Effect H.E.A.R.T. sensors and 4 brake pressure modes via spring and elastomer.
  • TH8S shifter with a 7+1 H-pattern shift plate and a metal lever.

Frequently asked questions

What does the TH8S shifter add over the wheel's paddles?

The TH8S has a 7+1 H-pattern shift plate and a metal lever: you change gear by hand, as in a real car. That is what rally, classic touring cars and older GTs call for, disciplines where paddles feel out of place.

What are the 3 BOOST levels?

They are three Force Feedback intensity levels that you switch instantly from the wheel itself, so you can match the force to the car or the race without diving into the game's menus.

Can the brake stiffness be adjusted?

Yes. The T3PM pedal set offers 4 brake pressure modes combining a spring and an elastomer, taking the feel from soft to much firmer and more progressive.

Does it work on Xbox?

No. This pack is officially licensed for PlayStation and works on PS5, PS4 and PC (Windows 10/11). It is not compatible with Xbox consoles.

What desks can it be mounted on?

The included clamps take desks and tables up to 40 mm thick. It can also be bolted to a rigid cockpit.
