The VIRPIL MongoosT-50CM4 is a dual flight throttle for PC, built around aircraft-grade duralumin mechanics, two throttle axes running on contactless digital sensors and an interchangeable detent-plate system.

It updates the original MongoosT-50 with the ergonomic handles of the VMAX series and sits between the CDT-VMAX and the VMAX Prime within the throttles range from VIRPIL Controls. The axes ride on high-precision steel bearings with no backlash or dead zones, and tension is adjusted through the port holes on the top panel, without disassembling the unit.

Key features of the MongoosT-50CM4

Dual throttle axes on VPC contactless digital sensors: the handles lock together to synchronise both engines, or split via the quick-lock toggle for differential thrust.
Adjustable detent system with interchangeable plates that slide forwards and backwards along the axis range and can be mixed between sets.
Four detent plate sets included: Classic Plus, Warthog-Type, Aerobatic and CosmoSim, in lift or push-through configurations.
Front-mounted detent lifts operated with the thumb or palm, with no need to shift your hand forwards over the handle.
Analogue ministick with push at the index finger position, ideal for SLEW, cursor control or strafing in space sims.
5-way mode dial configurable as five independent buttons or a 5-state shift modifier, for up to five actions per input.
Programmable RGB backlighting on the B1–B6 buttons, with sticker sheets included for labelling.
