The VNM Handbrake V1 is a 200 kg load cell handbrake for sim racing, compatible with PC, built for rally, drift and rallycross drivers who want a firm, progressive and precise pull.

Its fully machined aluminium body and 200 kg load cell, read by an STM32 board with a 16-bit ADC, measure pressure rather than travel for a natural, repeatable input. The result is the mechanical feel of a real hydraulic handbrake, in a rugged build made to last.

Standard or PRO Kit version?

The standard version ships as the complete handbrake with its spring set, already progressive and adjustable in pre-load. The PRO Kit adds extra springs and elastomers to stiffen or soften the feel, plus a 90° conversion kit that widens your mounting options. Choose PRO for the widest tuning range; standard is enough for most setups.

Compatibility

It connects over USB in plug & play mode and works on PC with iRacing, Assetto Corsa, EA SPORTS WRC, DiRT Rally and any title that accepts an analogue axis. It is not compatible with consoles.

Does the VNM Handbrake V1 work on console?

No. It is designed for PC and connects over USB GX12 in plug & play; it is not compatible with PlayStation or Xbox.

What does the load cell measure?

It measures the pressure (force) you apply, not travel. It is a 200 kg industrial load cell read by an STM32 board with a 16-bit ADC, giving a progressive, repeatable response.

What does the PRO Kit add?

Extra spring and elastomer combinations to adjust tension, plus a 90° conversion kit that widens mounting freedom.

How does it mount to the rig?

It bolts to aluminium profile or standard metal structures using the rear and side mounting holes, and connects over USB.

How is it different from the VNM Handbrake V1.5?

The VNM Handbrake V1.5 (Rally) is based on the V1 and includes the Pro Kit as standard, with a longer length-adjustable lever and an angle set across 7 positions.
