The VNM Slipring transforms your VNM Direct Drive base into a cleaner, more reliable system, allowing continuous wheel rotation with no tangled cables. It transmits power, signal and data between the fixed and rotating parts via USB Type-C.

Compatibility and requirements (read before buying)

  • Recommended for “non-USB High-Speed 480 Mbps” wheels: on wheels with a display (e.g. certain VoCore-type displays) occasional disconnections may occur; VNM is improving this continuously.
  • PC connection via the Slipring's USB-C: use the Slipring's own USB-C port as the wheel's direct connection to the PC.
  • Front-mount thickness: must not exceed 10 mm; if it does, you'll need a spacer or a thinner USB-C connector.
  • Third-party wheels: compatible using the VNM Quick Release (Wheel Side) and the Quick Release Wheel Side Extension Kit.
