The Cube Controls CSX-3 Color Edition is a Formula sim racing wheel with a 4" full-colour LCD touchscreen, a 100% carbon fibre front plate and a CNC aluminium body, available in three colours and compatible with PC, for drivers who demand racing-grade precision in single-seaters and endurance.

It is the colour edition of Cube Controls' most acclaimed Formula wheel, with the same performance as the standard CSX-3 —renovated electronics, magnetic Q-CONN connection, RGB LEDs and dashboards via SimHub, and switchless magnetic paddles— plus redesigned grips that are more ergonomic, dust-resistant and easy to clean. It accepts an extra paddle set in carbon fibre to expand its functions.

Compatibility

The CSX-3 Color Edition works with PC via a magnetic Q-CONN connection and full control through SimHub (dedicated plugin required); it is not compatible with consoles. It mounts on any direct drive wheelbase through a Formula-type quick release (70 mm PCD, 3 bolts, not included), and its VR-friendly design keeps every control within reach when using virtual reality headsets.

How does it differ from the standard CSX-3?

It shares all the technology and performance of the CSX-3, but is offered in three colours (black, blue and red) and fits redesigned grips that are more ergonomic, dust-resistant and easy to clean.

Is the CSX-3 Color Edition compatible with consoles?

No. It works only with PC via a magnetic Q-CONN connection and is managed through SimHub; it has no PlayStation or Xbox compatibility.

What is the difference between the 4 and 6 paddle versions?

The 4-paddle version includes the shifter set and the clutch set. The 6-paddle version adds an optional third pair of carbon fibre paddles, meant for assigning extra functions (for example a second clutch or additional controls).

Do I need a quick release and a base to use it?

Yes. It attaches via a Formula-type quick release (70 mm PCD, 3 bolts) that is not included, and it is compatible with direct drive wheelbases using that mounting.

Is the display touch and customisable?

Yes. It integrates a 4" full-colour LCD touchscreen (800 × 480 px). Through SimHub you configure the dashboards, on-screen telemetry and the behaviour of the RGB LEDs (dedicated plugin required).
