The Cube Controls F-CORE is Cube Controls' premium entry-level formula wheel for PC: a light, rigid wheel with a carbon fibre faceplate and competition electronics, designed to step up to serious sim racing with a dual USB + Bluetooth connection and configurable magnetic paddles.

Made in Italy, it combines a 4 mm carbon fibre faceplate with a die-cast aluminium body for a rigid assembly of just 895 g. Its ergonomic elastomer grips give a firm hold even without gloves, and its formula-style Quick Release mounting (3 bolts, 70 mm PCD) makes it compatible with most direct drive wheelbases on the market. It is a fully customisable wheel that can grow with you over time.

Compatibility

The F-CORE is designed for PC (USB and Bluetooth) and is ideal for formula and GT3 in titles such as iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, rFactor 2 or Automobilista 2. It mounts on any formula-style Quick Release base with 3 bolts and 70 mm PCD, including the direct drive wheelbases on the market, and is configured with the proprietary Cubeset software, which is SimHub-compatible. It is not intended for consoles.

Frequently asked questions

Does the F-CORE include the mounting hub?

It depends on the version. The basic configurations (2 and 4) do not include a hub; the upgraded "2+" and "4+" versions include the black hub. The hub can also be purchased separately.

What's the difference between the composite and aluminium paddles?

The reinforced carbon polymer composite Core Shifter paddles are ultra-light and versatile; the full aluminium ones offer a sharper, firmer feel. Both are magnetic, switchless and have adjustable stop ends.

Is the F-CORE compatible with consoles?

No. It is designed for PC, with a USB or Bluetooth connection and configuration through the Cubeset software. It is not a wheel intended for PlayStation or Xbox.

Which wheelbases is it compatible with?

Any base that uses a formula-style Quick Release with 3 bolts and 70 mm PCD. It fits most direct drive wheelbases on the market via the corresponding adapter.

How long does the battery last?

It has a 2000 mAh LiPo battery that charges in 2 to 4 hours. According to Cube Controls, it offers between 40 and 50 hours of wireless runtime, adjustable from the wheel's software.

Can I add clutches later?

Yes. The F-CORE supports the launch control clutch system; you can choose the version with clutches (4 paddles) or expand it later. Configuration is done via software.
