The Thrustmaster Ferrari 250 GTO is a 33 cm vintage sim racing wheel rim for PC, a limited-edition 8:10 scale replica of the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO steering wheel, finished in genuine wood and metal.

Thrustmaster released it under official Ferrari licence to mark the 55th anniversary of the 250 GTO, three-time GT world champion between 1962 and 1964. The frame and faceplate are metal, both sides are covered in genuine wood and the centre carries a chrome Ferrari logo plate. It is both a working rim for classic driving — with content such as the Assetto Corsa 1962 250 GTO DLC — and a collector's piece, supplied in a gift box with a hot-stamped inner foam display.

The Ferrari 250 GTO Wheel Add-On is a PC-only rim (Windows 10, 8 and 7): it is not compatible with consoles. Thanks to the Thrustmaster Quick Release system, it works with the following Thrustmaster bases and accessories, all sold separately:

No. It is a PC-only rim (Windows 10, 8 and 7); Thrustmaster does not list it as console compatible.

Which Thrustmaster bases is it compatible with?

With the T-Series bases on PC: TS-PC Racer, TS-XW Racer, T-GT, T500 RS (with a firmware update), T300 series and TX series. It can also be used alongside the TH8A Add-On Shifter. Bases and shifter are sold separately.

Can it be fitted to a T818 or T598 direct drive wheelbase?

Thrustmaster does not list the T818 or the T598 among the official compatible bases for this rim, which uses the classic Quick Release. The brand does sell a Quick Release adapter to convert Thrustmaster rims to the direct drive standard; check with our team before buying it for that purpose.
