The Asetek SimSports® Forte® Formula wheel has been painstakingly designed by real drivers and sim racers alike. It lives up to the feel of real-life racing while embracing the feedback from sim racing. With this and other feedback in mind, we started from scratch and a blank sheet of paper on a mission to create the best formula-style sim racing wheel possible, but like our other products, still be affordable and cost-effective. We're happy to say we achieved just that: meet the Forte® Formula wheel!
Many wheels, whether sim racing or real-life, derive their strength and stiffness from the faceplate and grips, often in a closed construction (the handlebars are mechanically connected at both ends). Unfortunately, this also limits their size and design. To achieve maximum rigidity while still allowing you, the user, to easily change grips, add clutches, DRS paddle shifters, etc., we use an injection-molded chassis with a carbon-glass-plastic composite material that provides very high natural stiffness and strength and features a laser-etched forged carbon exterior without relying on the handlebars for strength and rigidity.

To add overall anti-flex and a proper interface for removable grips, the chassis features a metal spider interface on the inside, and together it results in a rigid, no-flex wheel where grips can be changed or upgraded over time to give you the wheel YOU want! For now, we have two different sizes, the default one providing a perfect fit and grip for average-sized hands and an XL version for larger hands.
The ergonomic grips are made of comfortable, soft, and durable silicone rubber, which is easy to clean and disinfect and will provide you with maximum comfort and control, regardless of whether you wear racing gloves or not. You'll have the option to easily change the grips to quickly implement future upgrades in color, size, shape, and hardness.

The front of the wheel is made from a 2mm woven carbon plate that provides a beautiful home for all the switches/buttons.
With plenty of inputs, the Asetek SimSports® Forte® Formula One wheel, through our RaceHub™, gives you the option to customize and assign all the buttons, switches, encoders, and paddles you need to stay on top. With 12 push buttons, two 2-way toggle switches, two 7-way ripple switches, three rotary encoders, and six thumb encoders, you can control all the settings you want.
All buttons, switches, and rotary switches are of the highest quality standards and are fully tested and validated on our automatic button testing machines to ensure years of daily use.
The Forte® wheel features no fewer than 49 fully customizable aRGB LEDs, including rev and flag lights, allowing you to not only personalize the look of your wheel, but also helping you make those split-second decisions that can make the difference between success or failure. The LEDs can, of course, be tuned, dimmed, color-customized, and mapped in RaceHub, with many more features to come. Every button and LED can be clearly marked via the provided decal sheet, which provides a backlit label for each function on your wheel.

The rear end features, by default, two contactless magnetic shift paddles for quick and seamless gear changes. It can be easily upgraded to a dual-clutch for perfect race starts, as well as two additional adjustable paddles that can be used, for example, for effortless overtaking and activating DRS. All paddles and their associated mechanics are, like the wheel frame itself, injection-molded from an ultralight and rigid carbon composite material.
All Asetek SimSports® wheels feature our proprietary Quick Release system, which is as easy to use as shifting gears; literally, to disconnect the wheel from the base, all you have to do is simply press a paddle and the wheel is in your hands! Needless to say, we don't rely on wireless signals that can fail or be inaccurate, batteries that need charging, or cables that can break or get in the way. It's all included in our Quick Release.
