The Cube Controls GT-X2 is a GT sim racing wheel with a 5" touchscreen, a die-cast aluminium housing and a carbon fibre front plate, compatible with PC, made for drivers chasing a top-tier touring car racing experience.

Developed from Cube Controls' collaboration with JAS Motorsport —creators of the real Honda Civic Type-R wheel—, the GT-X2 completes the new generation of the Italian brand's GT range. It combines a magnetic USB Q-CONN connection, RGB LEDs and a dashboard fully customisable through SimHub, and interchangeable silicone grips that switch the diameter between 30 and 32 cm without tools.

Compatibility

The GT-X2 works exclusively with PC via a magnetic USB Q-CONN connection and full control through SimHub; it is not compatible with consoles. It mounts on any direct drive wheelbase with a Formula-pattern adapter (70 mm PCD, 3 bolts) and is optimised for iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, rFactor 2, Automobilista 2 and other simulators.

Is the Cube Controls GT-X2 compatible with consoles?

No. The GT-X2 works only with PC via a magnetic USB Q-CONN connection and is managed through SimHub; it has no PlayStation or Xbox compatibility.

Which diameter should I choose, 30 or 32 cm?

It is the same wheel either way: the silicone grips are interchangeable and set the diameter. 30 cm (300 mm) is more compact and quicker to handle, while 32 cm (320 mm) feels closer to a real GT car. Additional grip sets are sold separately.

Do I need a direct drive wheelbase to use it?

Yes. The GT-X2 does not include a base: it attaches via a Formula-pattern quick release (70 mm PCD, 3 bolts) to a compatible direct drive wheelbase with the corresponding adapter.

Can I customise the display and the LEDs?

Yes. Through SimHub you configure on-screen telemetry, the colours and behaviour of the RGB LEDs (RPM bar, ABS and TC warnings, flags) and the button profile.

Does it include clutch paddles?

Yes. The GT-X2 fits full-aluminium paddle shifters and clutches with magnetic Hall sensors. Via software you can adjust dual clutch, bite point and launch control.

What is it made of?

The front plate is carbon fibre-reinforced polymer (PA66 CF30) and the back housing is die-cast aluminium. The whole wheel weighs 1408 g.
