The Rexing Mayaris 2 is a handcrafted carbon fibre formula steering wheel for sim racing, made in Croatia, featuring a 5-inch touchscreen, 125 configurable inputs and magnetic shifter paddles with Hall sensors, compatible with the main direct drive wheelbases and quick releases on the market.

Built by Kompozit d.o.o. in Croatia, the Mayaris 2 combines a hand-moulded carbon fibre body with dual-core ARM electronics and a 4-layer PCB. The 5-inch touchscreen at 854 × 480 pixel resolution and three OLED status displays eliminate the need to glance at the PC during any session. Native SimHub support and 125 inputs make it a full telemetry platform for your rig.

The Mayaris 2 can be fitted with an optional third push/pull paddle pair: 4 configurable positions on just 2 levers, 2 additional latching actions, Hall sensors, rubber stops, and up to 20 button presses per position — particularly useful for brake bias management without any additional software.

Compatibility

The Rexing Mayaris 2 is compatible exclusively with PC via USB. It is not compatible with PlayStation or Xbox. It works with all major PC simulators: iRacing, Assetto Corsa, Assetto Corsa Competizione, rFactor 2, Le Mans Ultimate, Automobilista 2 and any HID-compatible title. The aluminium hub accepts 50.8 mm and 70 mm interfaces (Simucube, Fanatec Podium Hub, Asetek Invicta/Forte/La Prima and other compatible QR systems). A powered USB hub is recommended for maximum LED brightness.

Does the wheel work with PlayStation or Xbox?

No. The Rexing Mayaris 2 is a PC-only addon wheel. It connects via USB and has no native support for PlayStation or Xbox.

What software do I need to configure the LEDs and buttons?

SimHub, which is free. The Mayaris 2 has native SimHub support, meaning the 11 RPM LEDs, 6 marshal LEDs, 10 illuminated buttons and the 5-inch touchscreen can all be configured directly within the SimHub interface, with no additional drivers required.

How many inputs does the Rexing Mayaris 2 have?

The Mayaris 2 offers a total of 125 configurable inputs: 10 RGB buttons, 2 eight-position switches, 1 central encoder with push, 2 multi-switches (encoder + joystick + button), 6 thumb encoders, plus the magnetic shifter and clutch paddles. The optional third paddle set adds further configurable positions.

Do the magnetic shifter paddles wear out over time?

The Mayaris 2 paddles use Hall sensors instead of mechanical micro-switches, eliminating contact wear entirely. Rubber stops reduce click noise. With no contact parts in the detection mechanism, the service life is significantly longer than that of conventional paddle shifters.
