The SOELPEC Terra LX is a 297 mm sim racing steering wheel with up to 136 programmable inputs, 128 individual RGB LEDs and an anodised 6061 aluminium structure, compatible with direct drive wheelbases using the 70 mm six-bolt pattern.

Its closed formula-style format packs an unusual density of controls into 297 mm: 13 front push buttons, rear-facing buttons, two 7-way switches and six encoders. The HybridSwitch system lets each centre encoder act as a 12-position rotary switch, a push button or an incremental encoder, while HybridLink adds up to 12 virtual layers on the thumb encoders, so you can jump between car configurations without touching the software.

Compatibility and finishes

Wheelbases: compatible with most direct drive wheelbases on the market thanks to the standard 70 mm six-bolt pattern. The 32 mm rear hub is included and adds extra spacing to make mounting easier.
Platform: PC. The illumination and dashboard functions require SimHub; it is not compatible with consoles.
Finishes: available in Lava, Arctic and Basalt. SOELPEC's anodised knob kits also let you change the colour of the encoders.
Recommendation: the manufacturer advises using a powered USB hub for the highest brightness levels.

Which direct drive wheelbases is the Terra LX compatible with?

With most wheelbases on the market that use the standard 70 mm six-bolt pattern. The wheel includes the 32 mm rear hub with the USB connection already integrated, so you do not need to buy a separate quick release for that pattern.

What are HybridSwitch and HybridLink?

HybridSwitch lets a single encoder work as a 12-position rotary switch, a push button or an incremental encoder. HybridLink adds up to 12 virtual layers on the thumb encoders. Together, the two systems reach the wheel's 136 programmable inputs.

Can the paddle force be adjusted?

Yes. The DuoACT mechanism is magnetic and adjustable, and the box includes extra magnets to change the actuation force. The paddles run on ball bearings with black N52 magnets, and use both a tactile switch and a Hall sensor.

Does it work on PlayStation or Xbox?

No. The Terra LX is aimed at PC: the RGB illumination, the telemetry LEDs and the dashboard functions are all managed through SimHub, which is PC only.

Which colours is it available in?
