The SOELPEC Spectra XR is a 302 mm sim racing steering wheel with an integrated 5-inch touchscreen, 23 configurable LEDs around the display and a 6061 aluminium structure with a carbon fibre centre plate.
It is the flagship of the Spectra range: on the same mechanical platform as the Spectra LT it adds the touchscreen, which shows telemetry and settings without leaving the cockpit. It weighs 1,350 g without the hub and ships with the 42 mm rear hub included, colour-matched to the finish. On Asetek wheelbases it can run without the coiled cable, using their quick release with an integrated USB connection.

Frequently asked questions about the SOELPEC Spectra XR
Do I need to buy a separate hub or quick release?
No. The Spectra XR comes with a 42 mm rear hub in the box, colour-matched to the wheel finish and compatible with the standard 70 mm six-bolt pattern used by most direct drive wheelbases.
Can it be used without the coiled cable?
Yes, on Asetek SimSports wheelbases. The manufacturer states that the Spectra XR uses the Asetek quick release, which carries an integrated USB connection, to run with no visible cable. On any other wheelbase you use the 4-pin coiled cable with Lumberg connector supplied in the box.
What is the difference between the Spectra XR and the Spectra LT?
The display. The Spectra XR has a 5-inch touchscreen and 23 configurable LEDs, and weighs 1,350 g; the Spectra LT drops the screen, carries 16 additional LEDs and weighs 1,200 g. The rest of the control layout, materials and mechanics are the same.
What can be shown on the display?
Whatever you configure in SimHub: revs, deltas, temperatures, fuel, flags or any other telemetry data, along with the wheel's own settings. The screen is a touchscreen, so you can move between pages without taking your hands off the wheel.
Can the clutch bite point be adjusted?
Yes. The wheel has a dedicated button to set the bite point of the dual clutches directly from the wheel. The clutches run on ball bearings with Hall sensors.
