The Thrustmaster GT Wheel Add-On is a 28 cm round sim racing wheel rim, officially licensed by Gran Turismo and Sony, natively compatible with the T818 and T598 direct drive wheelbases on PC, PS5 and PS4.

It is the successor to the T-GT rim, designed alongside Polyphony Digital and now updated to the next-generation Quick Release, so it mounts on the brand's direct drive bases without adapters. The round rim, wrapped in fine, smooth-textured leather, gives a comfortable grip over long sessions and stays versatile: it works just as well for GT racing, sports driving and drifting.

Is it the same rim as the one from the T-GT?

It is its successor. It keeps the Gran Turismo rim design from the T-GT — 12 controls via encoders, mini-sticks and a PlayStation interface — but adopts the next-generation Quick Release for today's direct drive bases.

Does it work with Gran Turismo 7 on PS5?

Yes. It is officially licensed by Gran Turismo and Sony and works on PS5 and PS4 when fitted to a compatible base such as the T598. Its 4 encoders are also mapped automatically to traction control, brake bias, fuel and torque.
