Salva Talens is an engineer, entrepreneur and professional esports driver, as well as a coach and co-founder of Simufy Academy.

He has spent years competing at the highest level in iRacing, among the elite and in the top split, with over 9,000 iRating. He has raced for MSI and Apex, and currently drives for Simufy Esports. He has qualified for the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup, the most prestigious competition in iRacing, which only forty drivers worldwide qualify for.

That track record is what backs up what he writes. He knows how every piece of sim racing hardware is used and, above all, how to set it up to be fast and consistent over a full race: which parameters really change lap pace, which only change the feel and which don't matter. It is the difference between reading a spec sheet and knowing what you notice from inside the car.

As a coach at Simufy Academy he works every day with drivers who are just starting out, so he knows the real questions of someone putting together their first rig and the exact point at which upgrading pays off.
