The Simucube ActivePedal Ultimate Add-on is an additional active pedal delivering up to 170 kg of force for sim racing, compatible with PC, intended to expand a Simucube pedal set that is already up and running.
It is the same unit as the ActivePedal Ultimate, aimed at drivers who already have an ActivePedal in the rig and want a second active axis, typically adding a throttle alongside the brake. It is managed from the same Simucube Tuner and takes advantage of the Ultimate power output, which allows several pedals to run from a single power supply.
Key features of the ActivePedal Ultimate Add-on
- Up to 170 kg of force as standard, reconfigurable to 120 kg in software.
- 5 to 62 mm of travel as standard, extending to 5 to 79 mm in the 120 kg mode.
- No passive components: the feel does not change with temperature and does not degrade with use.
- Telemetry effects: ABS, traction control, engine vibration and RPM.
- Software-configurable as a brake, throttle or clutch, with no mechanical changes.
- Power output for daisy-chaining current between pedals, plus two passive pedal ports.
- Height adjustment up to 20 mm, offset adjustment up to 25 mm and angle adjustment up to 18°.

Compatibility
- Prerequisite: this pedal is an expansion. It needs a working Simucube installation with its Simucube Link; it does not include a Link Hub and will not work on its own.
- Multiple devices: running two or more Simucube Link devices on the same setup requires the Teltonika Ethernet Switch, sold separately.
- Platform: Windows PC. The pedal is recognised as a standard USB controller, so it works in any driving title that supports USB pedals. Simucube does not claim console compatibility.
- Active effects: telemetry effects require a title that publishes telemetry and is supported by Simucube Tuner, such as Automobilista 2, Le Mans Ultimate, rFactor 2, EA Sports WRC or Dirt Rally 2.
- Passive pedals: Heusinkveld Sim Pedals Sprint, Ultimate and Ultimate+ integrate into Simucube Tuner through the Heusinkveld connector cable, sold separately.
- Mounting: on the Simucube pedal plate or straight into your rig using the manufacturer 6 x M5 slot pattern.
Frequently asked questions
Can I buy this pedal as a first purchase?
No. The Add-on expands an existing Simucube pedal set and does not include the Simucube Link, which the pedal needs in order to talk to your PC. If this is your first ActivePedal, you need the version that includes the Link.
How does it differ from the standard ActivePedal Ultimate?
In pedal hardware terms, not at all: it is the same unit, with the same 170 kg, the same travel and the same software. The difference is the package, put together as an expansion for drivers who already have the installation in place.
Does it need its own power supply?
Not necessarily. The Ultimate has a power output, so a single supply can feed several daisy-chained pedals. That is one of its advantages over the ActivePedal Pro, where every unit needs its own supply.
Can I use it as a throttle?
Yes, and that is the most common use for a second ActivePedal. The function is selected in software from Simucube Tuner, with no mechanical changes, and can be changed whenever you like.
Can I combine it with an ActivePedal Pro?
Yes. Both share the same software, telemetry effects and Simucube Link ecosystem. Bear in mind that the Pro has no power output, so that unit will need its own power supply.
Do I need the pedal base plate?
It is not compulsory. You can bolt the pedal straight into the rig using the 6 x M5 slot pattern. The plate makes it easier to align several pedals and adjust heel position, but it is sold separately.
