The Novus X Motion Kit is a 3DOF motion system with four 120 mm electric actuators that turns your static simulator into a full motion one without changing a single peripheral: the kit installs underneath the setup you already have.

It's the exact same motion Novus fits under its complete simulators —Misha Spec, Full Motion RS and Full Motion S— available separately for owners of an X Cage chassis or an aluminium profile rig who want to move up to a motion simulator. The actuators track the sim's physics rather than compressing it, so you react with your body before the image tells you to.

Do I need the X Cage to use the X Motion Kit?

No, though it's the easiest install. The kit is a perfect fit on the X Cage thanks to its pre-drilled points, and also works on compatible aluminium profile rigs with the included adapters. If you don't have a chassis yet, the X Motion System bundles the X Cage and the motion in one order for less than buying them separately.

What software does it use?

SimHub, the industry standard and free, compatible with iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, rFactor 2 and Automobilista 2, among others. It connects via USB-C and we include pre-configured motion profiles so it runs from the start, with no subscriptions.

Is this the same motion as the complete Novus simulators?

Identical. The Full Motion S, the Full Motion RS and the Misha Spec run these same actuators: 120 mm stroke, 250 mm/s and 250 kg load. The only difference is that complete systems add chassis, wheelbase, pedals, displays and PC; the kit adds that motion to your current setup.

Can I install it myself?

Yes. It ships with detailed instructions, all the mounting hardware and the tools you need. With basic mechanical skills, a typical install takes 6 to 8 hours and includes 5 hours of remote support by email and video call. Professional installation is also available, quoted by location.

What maintenance and warranty does it have?

It includes a service pack with marked lubrication points; service is recommended every 12 months for light use or every 6 for heavy or commercial use. Actuators and electronics carry a 2-year warranty and replacement parts are available directly from Novus.
