The Simucube 3 70 mm Adapter replaces the Simucube Link Quick Release interface on the wheelbase with a plate carrying six M5 threaded holes on a 70 mm pattern, so you can fit a third-party quick release on the industry standard to your Simucube 3.

It is the part for anyone who already owns a wheel collection built around another coupling system and does not want to rebuild it when changing wheelbase. The installation Simucube publishes is straightforward: remove the Link Quick Release from the base, fix the adapter with the three bolts provided and mount your own base-side quick release on top.

This one or the 50.8 mm adapter?

They are different products and easy to confuse. This 70 mm adapter goes on the base side: it replaces the Link Quick Release so you can use a quick release from another brand, which is why LightBridge is lost. The 50.8 to 70 mm adapter goes on the wheel side: it lets you fit a formula wheel to the Link Quick Release itself and keeps the wireless transfer.
