The MOZA R16 Ultra Bundle is a sim racing package built around the R16 Ultra direct drive wheelbase rated at 16 Nm of sustained torque, plus your choice of steering wheel and pedal set, compatible with PC and Xbox and aimed at competition, training and simulation centres.

The R16 Ultra debuts MOZA's zero-cogging flat-wire motor, with a 21-bit magnetic encoder at 2,097,152 PPR, intelligent cooling and two RGB strips with configurable telemetry. It is one of the most balanced wheelbases in the direct drive range and supports bottom, front and side mounting.

  • mBooster Active Pedal Set + CRP2 throttle + extended baseplate: active brake with dynamic force feedback.
  • No pedals: if you already have a pedal set and only want the wheelbase and wheel.

Is the 16 Nm of the R16 Ultra sustained or peak torque?

MOZA states the 16 Nm as sustained torque: the wheelbase holds its performance through long sessions without cutting force because of temperature, thanks to intelligent thermal management with real-time monitoring.

Does the MOZA R16 Ultra Bundle work on Xbox or PlayStation?

The R16 Ultra wheelbase is compatible with PC and Xbox, but Xbox compatibility requires the ESX wheel, which carries the official console licence. MOZA does not offer PlayStation compatibility on any of its wheelbases or wheels.

What is the difference between the R16 Ultra and the R25 Ultra TrueTorque?

Both share the zero-cogging flat-wire motor, the 21-bit magnetic encoder and the same force feedback algorithms. The R25 Ultra steps up to 25 Nm and adds a true torque sensor with 0.1% sampling accuracy and a response rate of up to 2 kHz; the R16 Ultra stays at 16 Nm as the more contained high-performance option.

What is a zero-cogging flat-wire motor?

It is a motor with flat-wire windings that increases copper density and virtually eliminates cogging torque. In practice the wheel turns with no perceptible steps and reproduces road surface detail more faithfully.

In which positions can I mount the R16 Ultra wheelbase?

It supports bottom, front and side mounting with an optional adjustable bracket, and measures 206 × 140 × 135 mm, so it needs an aluminium profile cockpit or an equally rigid structure.

What are the RGB strips on the wheelbase for?

They are two configurable strips with 16.7 million colours that can display real-time telemetry: ABS activation, traction control, gear shifts or flags. They are purely informative and can be switched off.
