The Simucube Link Hub is the bridge between your PC and the Simucube Link network: it connects every compatible Simucube device through a single USB-C port, with galvanic isolation and protection against power surges and interference.

It carries one USB-C port towards the computer and one Simucube Link (RJ45 Ethernet) port towards the devices, and it is configuration free — plug it in and it works. It supports a virtually unlimited number of compatible Simucube devices, although connecting more than one at a time requires a standard Ethernet switch between the hub and the gear. One Link Hub covers the whole setup.

Key features of the Simucube Link Hub

  • A single USB port on the PC for the entire Simucube ecosystem, instead of one per device.
  • Galvanic isolation of every connected device: it removes ground loops and electrical interference.
  • Protection against power surges and electrostatic discharge, the most common cause of damage in setups with many peripherals.
  • Configuration free: no drivers, no settings to touch.
  • Scalable: add a standard Ethernet switch and connect as many Simucube Link devices as you need.
  • Required on Simucube 3: the wheelbase does not connect directly to the computer.

Compatibility

  • Simucube 3 Sport, Pro and Ultimate wheelbases: required. The base does not connect directly to the PC; without the Link Hub the inputs are not registered.
  • Simucube Savu Pro and Savu Sport wheels: required.
  • Simucube VALO GT-23: needed to drive its 18 RGB LEDs from Simucube Tuner.
  • Simucube ActivePedal Ultimate and Pro: already included in the package, no need to buy it separately.
  • Simucube Wireless wheels — Tahko GT-21, Tahko Round and models from Ascher Racing, Cube Controls or SimRacingBay, among others — connect through the hub.
  • Simucube 2 wheelbases: the base itself does not need the Link Hub to work; Simucube Wireless wheels and any Simucube product released from 2024 onwards do.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need one Simucube Link Hub per device?

No, one is enough for the whole setup. To connect more than one device at a time you place a standard Ethernet switch between the hub and the gear.

Can I connect a Simucube 3 wheelbase straight to the computer?

No. Simucube states that the Simucube 3 wheelbase does not connect directly to the PC: without the Simucube Link Hub the inputs are never registered. It is a mandatory accessory on any Simucube 3 setup.

Does it come included with any product?

Yes, with the Simucube ActivePedal. For everything else — Simucube 3 wheelbases, Savu Pro, Savu Sport, VALO GT-23 and other post-2024 products — it is bought separately.

What ports does the Simucube Link Hub have?

One USB-C port towards the computer and one Simucube Link RJ45 Ethernet port towards the devices.

Does it need configuring or any drivers?

No. The Link Hub is configuration free: connect it and the devices show up in Simucube Tuner.

Do I need it if I have a Simucube 2 wheelbase?

The Simucube 2 wheelbase does not need it to work on its own. You do need it for Simucube Wireless wheels and for any Simucube product released from 2024 onwards.
