The Simucube Savu Sport is a 295 mm wireless GT sim racing wheel with 12 backlit RGB buttons with interchangeable caps and quiet paddles, conceived as the entry point into the Simucube ecosystem without giving up industrial-grade construction.
It is the entry model in the Simucube Savu range, sibling to the Savu Pro. Its one-piece metal frame is produced by high-pressure die casting, combining rigidity and low weight: 1,700 g with the quick release fitted and 295 × 155 × 125 mm, in a compact screenless format. Designed in Finland and manufactured in the European Union, with a 3-year warranty. A Simucube Link Hub is required to run it: if you do not own one yet, add it in the selector.

Savu Sport or Savu Pro?
Both share the metal frame, the 295 mm format, 12 interchangeable RGB buttons, quiet paddles and a 3-year warranty. The Savu Pro adds a top-mounted telemetry LED bar, 3 front rotary encoders with push, 2 side thumb encoders with click and 2 twelve-position rotary switches, and weighs 50 g more. If you juggle a lot of settings mid-race, go Pro; if you want a clean, direct wheel, the Sport.
Compatibility
- Simucube 3 Sport, Pro and Ultimate wheelbases: direct fitting with the included Simucube 3 Link Quick Release, with wireless power from the base and no batteries.
- Simucube 2 wheelbases: Simucube also builds a configuration with the Simucube 2 quick release and a rechargeable 2,000 mAh NiMh battery (30-60 hours depending on LED use). Get in touch and we will confirm which one you need.
- A Simucube Link Hub is required: the wheel's data transfer runs through it. If you already own one from another Simucube product you do not need a second; if not, choose the “Add Simucube Link Hub” option.
- Six-bolt mounting on a ⌀70 mm pattern.
- Platform: PC only. It is not compatible with PlayStation or Xbox.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need the Simucube Link Hub to use the Savu Sport?
Yes. Simucube states it explicitly: the Savu Sport requires a Simucube Link Hub, through which its data transfer runs. If you already own one because you use an ActivePedal, a Simucube Wireless wheel or a Simucube 3 base, you do not need a second one. If you do not have one, tick the “Add Simucube Link Hub” option.
Does the Savu Sport work with a Simucube 2 wheelbase?
Yes. Simucube builds the Savu Sport in two configurations that differ in quick release and power supply: the Simucube 3 one, with Link Quick Release and wireless power, and the Simucube 2 one, with a rechargeable 2,000 mAh NiMh battery and 30 to 60 hours of runtime. Get in touch and we will confirm which one you need for your base.
What is the difference between the Savu Sport and the Savu Pro?
They share the frame, the 295 mm diameter, 12 interchangeable RGB buttons and quiet paddles. The Savu Pro adds a top-mounted telemetry LED bar, 3 front rotary encoders with push, 2 side thumb encoders with click and 2 twelve-position rotary switches, and weighs 1,750 g against the Sport's 1,700 g.
Can the button caps be changed?
Yes. The 12 RGB buttons have interchangeable caps and the box includes 8 extra ones with different icons, along with a T-8 wrench and tweezers for swapping them.
Can extra paddles be added?
Yes, the Savu Sport accepts an additional set of paddles. Simucube always sells it separately; it does not come in the box.
Does it work with PlayStation or Xbox?
No. It is a PC-only wheel: it works with Simucube wheelbases and is configured from the Simucube Tuner software.
