The Simgrade Pedal Base Plate is an 8 mm solid aluminium pedal mounting plate measuring 386 x 286 mm, natively compatible with the VX-PRO, Thera and R7 pedal sets and usable as a universal base for practically any other set.

Mounting your pedals on a rigid plate spreads braking load instead of concentrating it on the fixings, which removes flex and makes pedal feel more consistent lap after lap. Its matte black fine-structured powder coat stands up well to everyday scuffing.

Key features of the Simgrade pedal base plate

  • 8 mm solid aluminium: total stability, with no flex even under aggressive braking.
  • 386 x 286 mm surface, enough for a three-pedal set with comfortable spacing.
  • Longitudinal mounting slots that let you set each pedal's position without drilling.
  • Native compatibility with the Simgrade VX-PRO, Thera and R7 pedal sets.
  • Works as a universal base for other brands' pedals thanks to the slot system.
  • Matte black fine-structured powder coated finish, hard-wearing and professional looking.
  • Supplied with M8 bolts included.

Frequently asked questions

It is natively compatible with the Simgrade VX-PRO, Thera and R7 pedal sets. Thanks to its mounting slots it also works as a universal base for other brands' pedals.

What are its dimensions?

386 mm wide by 286 mm long, in 8 mm thick aluminium. Lateral spacing between the mounting slots is 362 mm.

What bolts do I need to fit it?

M8 or M6 bolts are recommended. The M8 bolts come included with the plate.

Can it be combined with the heel stopper?

Yes. The Simgrade heel support plate fits straight onto the base plate, with no adapters and no drilling.

Why mount pedals on a base plate at all?

It spreads braking load across a rigid surface and prevents flex, which makes pedal feel more consistent. It also lets you move the whole pedal assembly without realigning each pedal again.
