The Simucube Tahko GT-21 is a wireless sim racing wheel available with two rims — a 330 mm flat GT rim in suede or a 320 mm round rim in leather — compatible with Simucube 2 direct drive wheelbases and with Simucube 3 through the Simucube Link Hub.

Built by Granite Devices in Finland, the Tahko GT-21 was the first steering wheel in the Simucube ecosystem, and both versions share the same electronics: 2.1 kg of weight, industrial-grade switchgear and a connection over the Simucube Wireless Wheel System, with no cable between wheel and base, powered by a replaceable CR2477N coin cell. The Simucube Button on the rear lets you change Force Feedback parameters on the move, without leaving the session.

Which version should you choose?

The D-shape Alcantara rim, flat and 330 mm across, is the GT option: more diameter and the grip of suede for touring and endurance racing. The round leather rim, 320 mm across, is aimed at rally and drifting, where the wheel slides through your hands. Electronics, paddles, buttons, connectivity and weight are identical on both.

Simucube 3 Sport, Pro and Ultimate: the data connection runs through the Simucube Link Hub; mechanical mounting requires the Simucube 2 Quick Release adapter for Simucube 3.

What is the difference between the D-shape Alcantara rim and the round leather one?

The D-shape Alcantara rim is flat, 330 mm across and finished in suede, aimed at GT and touring cars. The round leather rim is 320 mm across and made for rally and drifting. The rest of the wheel — electronics, paddles, buttons and the 2.1 kg weight — is identical.

Is the Simucube Tahko GT-21 compatible with Simucube 3?

Yes. All Simucube Wireless wheels work with Simucube 3 through the Simucube Link Hub, which brings the data connection down to a single USB port. For the mechanical fitting you need the Simucube 2 Quick Release adapter for Simucube 3.

What is included in the Simucube Tahko GT-21 box?

Does the Tahko GT-21 work with PlayStation or Xbox?
