The Simucube VALO GT-23 is a high-end wireless sim racing wheel with 18 programmable RGB LEDs and dual hall-effect clutches, available with a 320 mm D-shape rim in Alcantara or leather, or with the 315 mm open bullhorn rim of the EVO version, compatible with Simucube 2 direct drive wheelbases and with Simucube 3 through an adapter.

It is the flagship wheel of the Simucube range: a black anodised CNC-milled aluminium rim wrapped in Alcantara or leather, with an unusually complete set of controls — 10 industrial-grade buttons with aluminium guards, 2 seven-way joysticks, 2 front rotary encoders, 2 thumb encoders, 2 magnetic shift paddles and 2 clutch paddles with adjustable position. The D-shape versions weigh 2.1 kg and run on a rechargeable 2,000 mAh NiMh battery that lasts between 30 and 60 hours depending on the LED setup.

Which version should you choose?

The two 320 mm D-shape versions are the all-rounders: Alcantara gives more grip with gloves and over long stints, leather a smoother feel that is easier to clean. The Valo EVO swaps the rim for a 315 mm open bullhorn in leather: it clears your view of the screen and places your hands naturally, as in a real single-seater. Electronics, paddles, controls and the 18 LEDs are identical across all three.

What is the difference between Valo Alcantara, Valo Leather and Valo EVO?

The rim. The Alcantara and Leather versions share the same 320 mm D-shape rim and differ only in the covering. The Valo EVO fits a 315 mm open bullhorn rim in leather, made for single-seaters. Electronics, paddles, controls and LEDs are identical across all three.

How long does the Simucube VALO GT-23 battery last?

Between 30 and 60 hours depending on the LED setup. It uses a rechargeable 2,000 mAh NiMh battery included in the box.

Is the VALO GT-23 compatible with Simucube 3?

Yes, by fitting the Simucube 2 Quick Release adapter for Simucube 3. The data connection runs through the Simucube Link Hub.

What is included in the box?
