The Simucube ActivePedal Sport is a servo-driven active pedal with up to 100 kg of force for sim racing, compatible with PC, and the most accessible way into the Simucube ActivePedal range, sitting below the Pro and the Ultimate.
Instead of springs or elastomers that change as they wear, a motor creates the resistance: the feel is defined in software in Simucube Tuner and stays the same over time. It builds on the technology behind the ActivePedal Pro and Ultimate, but on a more compact architecture of its own, at 250 mm long against 418 mm for the Pro and 3.4 kg in weight.
ActivePedal Sport key features
- Up to 100 kg of force and 60 mm of maximum pedal travel.
- Force curve, travel, friction and damping adjustable in Simucube Tuner, per car and per game.
- Real-time telemetry effects: ABS and wheel lock-up come through as changes in resistance under your foot, not as vibration added beside it.
- Configurable as brake, throttle or clutch, with the role changeable at any time.
- Supports up to 2 passive pedals connected directly to the ActivePedal Sport.
- Compact 100 × 250 × 250 mm footprint, mounting on 4 M5 slots to a standard pedal plate or rig rails.

Compatibility
- Platform: Windows PC. Configured in Simucube Tuner. Simucube does not state console compatibility.
- Connection: runs on the Simucube Link platform and requires a Simucube Link Hub, sold separately. One per rig is enough, shared with every other Simucube Link device.
- Active effects: require a game whose telemetry is supported by Simucube Tuner.
- Complete set: pair it with the Simucube Co-Pedal for throttle or clutch, with another ActivePedal, or with up to two passive pedals connected to the Sport itself.
- Mounting: 4 M5 slots for a standard pedal plate or rig rails.
Frequently asked questions
What is an active pedal, and what does it offer over a passive one?
A passive pedal measures how hard you press, and its feel comes from springs, elastomers or hydraulics that change as they wear. An active pedal such as the ActivePedal Sport creates the resistance with a motor, so force, travel and feel are set in software, and the simulation can send effects such as ABS or lock-up through your foot. The result is consistent braking and a single pedal that can feel like any car.
Is the ActivePedal Sport a cut-down ActivePedal Pro?
No. It is a different product with its own design target. It builds on the technology behind the Pro and Ultimate and meets the same Simucube standards, but its more accessible price comes from a cost-optimised architecture and a compact form factor, not from removed performance.
Do I need the Simucube Link Hub?
Yes. The ActivePedal Sport connects over the Simucube Link platform and requires a Link Hub, which is not included in the pedal box. One per rig is enough: if you already run a Link Hub, for example with a Simucube 3 wheelbase, you do not need a second one.
Can I use it as a throttle or clutch?
Yes. The brake, throttle or clutch role is set in Simucube Tuner and can be changed at any time. Each pedal covers one role, so a complete set needs a second pedal: the Simucube Co-Pedal for throttle or clutch, another ActivePedal, or up to two passive pedals connected to the Sport itself.
How does it differ from a vibration kit for passive pedals?
A vibration kit adds a shaker to a pedal whose force curve does not change, so the information arrives as a buzz next to the braking. The ActivePedal Sport changes the resistance of the pedal itself: a lock-up is felt in how hard the pedal pushes back against your foot.
Can I daisy-chain power with another ActivePedal?
No. The ActivePedal Sport does not support daisy-chain power, so each unit uses its own 280 W power supply, which is included in the box.
